Over the river and through the woods...

We went to see Grandpa & ma Goodwin today. I love them, they are the coolest Grandparents. Some of the greatest of the "Greastest Generation" in my opinion. The tornados in Riverside touched down just over the hill from their house yesterday and I had a dream about Grandpa lastnight where he was his young hansome self from his 20s and he was full of energy and social like he used to be. So I just really felt the need to visit them today. I think they really enjoyed the visit. I don't ever want to stay a long time because the little ones can get a little stressful. Ally was very snuggly with Grandpa, he loves that. Julia was entertaining with all of her babbling and exploring the house. I would like to get down to see them once a week but sometimes that can be hard. I want my kids remember their great-grandparents like I remember mine on both sides. Those connections are important...so let's hear it for grandparents!

Wii Fit

We just picked up the Wii Fit today and I don't know who is more excited Richard or the boys. I can't complain if it helps incorporate more exercise into their day.

It doesn't look like much but Bruno is working on knocking off a few seconds from the ski slalom.

Batter Up!!

Today was Allys second to last T-Ball game. Ally will be happy that this season will be over soon. There isn't enough action for her. She gets bored and wants to go home after the second inning of every game. She is always the last batter so she always runs all of the bases. She's so used to being the last batter that she yells "last batter" as she walks out to the plate, which is what the coaches usually do. In T-Ball both teams go through the whole line up and they don't keep score. It's been very amusing watching her play. This fall I think we'll get her into cheerleading, I think she'll like that a lot.

Bruno's New Bike

Bruno our exchange student just got his new bike today. His last one was stolen a couple of weeks ago from school.

Jack and Ally are very excited to be able to ride with Bruno again.

Okay so I didn't get the date set right on the camera but aren't Julia and Ally cute in their Easter dresses? I love being a mom, it is the most fun thing to do...most of the time.
